  • Day 01: Arrive in Delhi latest by 11.30 am on 11 th July, 2022. Meet the team lead in the hotel. Address will be given once confirmation given and advance amount paid. Travel from Delhi to Manali by around 4.30 pm.
  • Day 02: By around 8 am, reach Manali bus stand. (Timings depend on the condition of the roads.) From the bus stand move to the campsite. Get acquainted with the dos and don’ts of the trek and expedition. Introduction of all members officially, get to know the core team and an introduction of the equipment would be done. Have lunch and go for an acclimatization walk in Manali and come back to the camp.

  • Day 07: Summit Attempt Summit Attempt to Mt. Yunam (6100 m); descent to Bharatpur camp. Stay the night at the campsite.

About Kalsubai

  • The highest peak in Maharashtra is Kalsubai Peak Trek, which stands at 1646 metres (5400 feet). Kalsubai Mountain is part of the Sahyadri mountain range and is part of the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. The highest peak, Kalsubai Height, commands a stunning view. Because Bhandardara Dam and Kalsubai Peak are so well-known, every effort has been made to make this trek as simple as possible. There are steel railings, chains, and ladders in places where climbing is difficult.

Points to know before you trek –

Detailed Itinerary

  • Saturday – Leave Pune by 11.00 pm (pick up points will be shared to participants after confirmation)
  • Sunday – Around 3.30 am reach the base village of Kalsubai. Freshen up at a local’s house and start the trek up.
  • 07.30 am – Reach the top of the peak. Wait there to enjoy the beauty offered by this peak.
  • 12.30 pm – Reach the base village. Have lunch.
  • 2.30 pm – Leave for Pune.
  • Around 8.30/ 9 pm – Reach the city.

About the Chandan Vandan

  • At an elevation of 3800 feet, the twin forts of Chandan Vandan tower like sentinels on the borders of Satara and Mahabaleshwar. The purpose of these forts was to guard the paths that led to Satara. The twin forts of Chandan and Vandan provide sweeping views of the surrounding hills and charming towns, as well as historic mosques, temples, and old banyan trees. They also have a unique stone construction that has stood the test of time. Wai treks are known for their gentle slopes, stunning lakes, verdant plateaus, and quaint villages. Numerous waterfalls cascade through the vibrant green valleys and into the paddy fields below the fort walls.

  • Trek to both the forts and come down for lunch by 3.00 pm

  • Given that sunlight cannot penetrate the ravines, Sandhan Valley is often referred to as the Valley of Shadows. Within the Sahyadri mountains is a breathtaking canyon. It's among the hardest and most rewarding treks in Sahyadri. Sandhan Valley, which is close to Bhandardara near Igatpuri, provides an unparalleled adventure experience. It is unquestionably a walk that will put your physical fitness, stamina, and endurance to the test. The journey concludes at Sinhagad.

  • Day 01: Pick up kids all along the way and head to the campsite. Unravel the mystery of the campsite. Have breakfast and get to know the 3 days itinerary. Proceed to have breakfast and start with the outdoor activities. Have lunch and continue with the indoor activities. In the evening go for a small late evening stroll in the area near the dam. Come back and have dinner followed by some interactive sessions and then call it a night.
  • Day 02: Indulge in adventure activities and some outdoor team building games. Spend the time in the open and get to know nature a bit more than we already do. Spend the evening by the water side and have interactive sessions. Learn more about the stars/constellations.
  • Day 3: Start the day by participating in outdoor activities. Have lunch and move to indoor games. Have evening tea and snacks and leave back for Pune. .

Itinerary

  • Day 01 Arrival : Arrival to Manali and transfer to camp. Allotment of tents, freshen up, briefing and then short hike in the forest. After high tea regroup and play fun and learn games. Overnight stay in the campsite.
  • Day 02 Day hike to Ghamana : Start the day with some yoga and chanting and get ready for the day. Post breakfast set out on a day hike to Ghamana Rock. It is a huge rock sitting on a slope of a meadow and providing bird’s eye view of the valley below. Return camp by lunch and free till tea. Regroup after high tea and try hands on zumaring; the technique of ascending on rope. Evening free for local sightseeing and indoor activities. Overnight in camp.
  • Day 3 Day for Rock Climbing and Rappelling: Start the day with yoga and chanting. Today we trek a bit to reach the rock field and then do rock climbing and rappelling sessions. One batch engages in the learning game while other is busy rock climbing and later the groups reverse the activities. Return to camp by lunch. After lunch rest for a while and learn more about nature. Post tea regroup and walk down to market for exploring the local market and shopping. Return to camp by dinner. Post dinner group discussion before calling it a night.
  • Day 3 Hike to Lamadugh with packed lunch followed by snow point : Start the day with yoga and chanting. Today the whole day is for the trekking. It is a long and steep hike to Loma Dugh meadow. The trail is tough but the view keeps getting better as you climb high. Lomadugh meadow is a beautiful place to be one with nature and enjoy it. Move from there up to the snow point and enjoy there. After playing in snow, enjoy the packed lunch. Have dinner and play some more and call it a night.
  • Day 3 River crossing and Departure : Start the day with yoga and chanting. After breakfast trek to Manalsu river at Old Manali for River Crossing. Return to camp for packing up the luggage. Have lunch and trek down to Mall road for last moment shopping. Bags will be brought to Volvo in a jeep. On time board the bus for onward journey. End of trip.

Itinerary

  • Pickup at Swargate PMT Bus Stop at 8 pm.
  • Start the journey towards the old Katraj tunnel at 8:15 pm.
  • Start the night trek by 10 pm. Enjoy the trek with moonlight throughout the trek.
  • Reach the junction on Sinhgad road coming from Donje village by 5 am. (Depending on the speed of all participants). Sunrise at Sinhgad Fort by 6 am.
  • Start to descend towards the base village.
  • Have breakfast at Base Village.
  • Board the PMT bus for Pune from Donje/Kondhanpur at 9 am.
  • Reach Pune at 10 am.
  • Tour Concludes with Happy Memories :)
